Hey Didgeri,
2100.00 sounds like a good deal except for one thing.
It's been in storage for years as the ad proclaims!!
Not a good sign, dryed out seals etc.....
Engine rebuild time, and lots of money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good winter project for you Peeman. I'll give you lots of beer and fish and chips and spin an endless stream of mod while you work. It will be fun.

Hey, remember long haired Larry from the Western Star days.
He owned a vintage triumph car, put thousands of dollars into to restore it, I mean thousands!!!
Anyways he never drove the thing because it kept breaking down all the time.
Parts were hard to come by, so he finally sold it for a song.
He could not afford to drive it anymore.
What's the moral of the story?

Buyarealbike, from now on I'm calling you BARB. Your mum has called me worse. Hard to tell w/o pics. B25s are pretty simple bikes ... can't really get more basic than a BSA thumper. I wouldn't drop more than $1500 on a 250cc. That said it would probably be a great starter as far as British bikes go.

I know who you mean, but do not remember his name.
Those cars are for people with deep pockets, and no brains.

Misery loves company, dontchaknow. I ain't miserable!?! My bikes burn eyes off. I mean it's not like I own a Miata (er I mean LX) or any thing. Sounds like this Larry guy doesn't know his way around a wrench and couldn't find the internet if it were sitting on his chest. Is he selling that Triumph?

Oh no, say it ain't so Darryl. It's bugging me that I can't remember the maintenance guy with the lotus. He was really high strung and had to go on stress leave when the layoffs started. Really nice guy. Remember the guys they had to write up because they smelled so bad? Those were the days.
