But what about the Dark Master, Himself? I think Fraser & 33rd will do the trick. I prefer the Old Cemetary in North Vancouver, but it involves a bridge, and that is a deterant to some (not so evil). Something tells me that we will not need to reserve seats for the Tuesday showing of the "Omen". Besides, the only reservation you will need is a reservation for HELL, once you go on this ride. Also, if anyone has a Honda DIO they can ride it as the Four Horsepower of the Apocalypse. ImI

It appears that Calgary is in as well.
Cemeteries, Satanic Ritual at Scooter Beach ( a summoning perhaps?) (Satan does not provide refreshments), back to town for the Movie/Cobalt.
Also, anybody up for Secret Satan? Nothing over $5.00 but it has to be Satanic? Any takers? (That could include Black Cat Gum, Red Devils, sulfur matches) We could exchange "offerings" at the ritual.
Movie v. Cobalt? Or Both ?

I think things are getting confused. According to Scotty's flyer the Cobalt on Main St is re opening on that night.
Asbalt on Hastings going away, Cobalt on Main St coming back.
NO BOLLOCKS EVENTS presents: THE COBALT REOPENS 666 The Draft, TheBusinessAssociates, Eastside Death Squad @ The Cobalt (No Minors)
I don't know when doors open but I am sure Scotty can super dooper confirm what is happening, and where.

The 6/6/6 ride will be leaving The Continental at 6:66 (7:06) p.m. Proceeding to Grave Yard, downtown, Omen starts at 9:30 (for those who want to go we will plan to ride from the Cemetery to the theatre). For those who do no want the movie we will continue riding on to a Park/Scooter Beach ride then back to the Cobalt.
The Cemetery closes at 8:00 p.m. so we have to leave on time.
The most likely show of the OMEN, for those who wish to attend is 9:30 at the Paramount on Burrard. Others have expressed a desire to keep riding, and will do so out to scooter beach. Then back to the Cobalt where we can meet up with movie goers. The Movie will end around 11:20.
Be there are be DAMNED.
P.S. Secret Satan for those who wish to participate. See the Ride Forum thread, the details are somewhere in there.
Boom box is a great idea. Anyone?

Boom box is a great idea. Anyone? There is only one album that can be played on this ride and I think we can all thank Steve Harris for it. God bless that man...errr I mean Satan....Satan bless(?) that man!! well I guess we can also play a couble of tracks off of this sucker too:

Sammy Davis Jr. got an honourary Warlock Degree from the Church of Satan (I'm not joking) for this album. The songs include "Witchcraft" and a cover of "Sympathy for the Devil". He recorded this baby during his devil worshiping period in the 1970's. Vince Neil can't claim to be a Warlock, but the Candyman can. Second best cover goes to the Louvin Brothers, but the songs are decidedly anti-Satan. These boys were true believers (awesome album).

ahem.... From the group that left the Continental only Christian and Natasha went to see the movie. The rest of us went riding and ended up at scooter beach. I didn't know lawyers are so much into pyro-technics (right word?). Anyways DD was well prepared to provide a private symphony of fire presentation. After that we went to the Trapp and Gill (late night snack). Only Scotty was brave enough to ride to the Cobalt. The rest of us went home. To bad 6/6/6 fell on a Tuesday this century, but there is always next century. If we start planning early maybe we can do some fun stuff (don't think we would need any costumes by then ) PS: Thanks DD for organizing the ride and the firework!!! Please keep the horns on your helmet!
