Wow!
Ok the weather was amazing, bar none the best weekend we have enjoyed this year. Clear blue skies all day, and clear warm nights, some of the best riding that I have ever enjoyed to date.
Too our guests from Calgary and Vancouver......well what can I say? I have made many new amazing friends this weekend. All of you are great! The commitment that you all made to join us on our first rally will not be forgotten, and was key in making the rally the success that it was. We all learned lots from watching you guys on our short and long rides on Saturday, and appreciate you takin control when you did. All our rides went with out incidents and flowed beautifully.
We made some history in Edmonton this weekend. Never before have Edmontonians been treated to such a display of Scooter enthusiasts on our streets. We were 20 strong on Saturday, and we turned lots of heads.
Without getting to long winded I just want to thank everyone for their help in organizing this Rally. Together we organized a successful first rally and I'm happy to say that we have already started planning next years.
A special thanks is in order to Delia. Your help and efforts are beyond words, and our appreciation for you and your talents cannot truly be expressed....
Cheers to all and see you soon.
Angelo

Thanx Edmonton, That was a great weekend. Superb rides with excellent company the weather was the icing on a perfect cake. Keep up the good work and it will always reward you. All the Calgary crew enjoyed it and made some good new friends, next year we'll have to do a camping run half way between Calgary and Edmonton. Thanx again and we'll hopefully see you very soon.

I have to say that Edmonton has become my favorite Rally to date. What a great group that gathered together and we really did leave with more friends and the feeling of community was amazing. It was my great pleasure to meet everyone and a special thanks to your wife Jeff.....please pass it along as I am not sure if she see's this forum for the beautiful daisy pillow and Vespa purse she made for me. That really blew me away...thanks so much! The daisy pillow has already been designated to be my Rally Pillow and will join me to each Rally I attend.....and of course I will be showing it off to everyone Angelo, Rita, Sophia and Isabella.....thank you for taking us into your lovely home....and your generous hospitality. We did not want to leave ;D. Your girls are just precious and I cant wait to see a pic of them in their VCoC shirts ;D hehehe. The drive to Edm was long, but I would do it again today if you had a Rally tomorrow! John and Janet - thank you for opening up your home for us to enjoy the amazing view and share a fun BBQ. John.....you should lead EVERY ride with your Beamer and sidecar....awesome job. Kevin - I know you are going to love the Banana....(that is not a dirty comment hahaha). I will be delivering the Inurance papers to Empire no later than Wednesday. Nice barn bike too....I cant believe all you needed was a sparkplug. Gotta love those stories. And thanks for the Gas save Andy & Kory ....thanks for letting me bleed your wallet dry. The funds are going to a good cause Torrie - I have to tell you that Angelo had something special saved for you in the event that you didnt win a prize again....and look at you! You will have to buy tickets from me all the time ahhahaha......way to go. Yeah....dont be looking for that boobie prize hahahaha. Hey Dennis...I said boobie hahaha.... Allison....way to go on winning my favorite prize. Captain Noel....what can I say...I always look forward to how you will make me laugh again and again. Bruce....make sure Torrie gets a Vespa to match that helmet hehehe and it was nice to meet you. Thanks to everyone that showed up - it was so fun! and lastly, thanks to all of the Sponsors who generously dontated prizes that we will remember winning each time we buy raffle tickets. Hmmmm ok...I am not at the Grammy Awards, so I will end it here with a for everyone! Love Delia

Hey Furnaceman, Nice to see a Lennox sticker, although you know it's hard to stop a Trane.-Ha HA!
Good to see Trevor and Charlene in from Morinville, whom I had only met previously on Modern Vespa. Did Ms Daisy sell 'em a membership?
And the guy with the broke down Viet-scooter on the trailer, I hope all that ails it can be remedied soon. Pity, she's too pretty to be all hobbled up like that.
Yeah, and to what everyone else here has said, I concur.
I love those Edmonton 50-60km/h freeways made for scooting. Angelo, with your connections make a phonecall. Offer the city a deal they can't refuse and make 'em fill in those potholes for 2007. Oh and while you're at, how about getting Calgary's roads all fixed up by August, eh?
Wunderbar and Whyte Ave were great. I know where I'll be while my scoot gets painted. Even after all the super-stupid sized beers and Jagermister, I still managed to keep it all down, even with the bed spinning the way it did. John even had enough 3am cold water for me to avoid what could have been a much worse hang-over. That deserves mighty thanks.
I hope to see some Modbikes visit us at the Calgary Rally. I'm so all alone here with all these near-naked scooters with only two mirrors and one headlamp. Edmonton has such a great scene. Maybe mine will encourage others here.

Hahahaha......the pot holes were the gymkhana for the day! I actually saw Delia ride out of one! BTW my speciality isn't asphalt! Concrete on the other hand! I'm working on getting Trevor to join, he has issues with the Sunday morning rides, perhaps a change is in order!? Your ride will inspire new school Mod riders everywhere, I love the look and can't wait to see how it progresses over the years... ......when you come to town for the paint job let me know and I will lead you to the shop.... Cheers Angelo

Nice barn bike too....I cant believe all you needed was a sparkplug. Gotta love those stories. And thanks for the Gas save Delia, Roy, Thanks for getting the papers back to Empire, I talked with them yesterday afternoon. I got all the nitty gritty about all the de-tuning they did, so if need be it can get even faster. Yippee! I got the bank draft all cleared up here, and they should recieve it very shortly. Hopefully it can be on the road before the weekend.

I guess they will just have to loan me a different scooter to sell at all the rallies I plan to attend lol. The papers did arrive at Empire today ---- plates and all, so I am sure they will have you on the road soon. OMG that banana will go even faster? Awesome! Maybe we will see you in Calgary Happy scooting to you and your woman (sorry...I dont know her name). gotta love it. Delia

I did tell them about it and Trevor suggested he will look into it more and maybe sign up online. I know he is talking to Angelo too....so hopefully he decides to join and ride with the group.
I did sell a membership to the Viet-scooter guy and his name is Mario
how about that? hee hee Delia
