Damn... so close... First i ran off to get Insurance now that the paper work is final and in my hands as of last night. Woohoo AMA: What's a Vespa? Is it the same as your other bike? Is that like a scooter? Two wheels right? Why is it not in the system? Do you know what code it is under? Me: Wouldn't it be the same codes as my OTHER Vespa on the same policy? AMA: Oh, why did i think of that. Grrr... find me another teller... Then off to registrations. She took my papers/insurance/license and filled everything out in the computer. I signed the registration and she stuck the stickers on the new plates and gave them to me. Hmm... maybe they don't need an OOP this time. I'm going to tell them how to do their job. But then, right at the last possible second, she was getting my change ready after i payed. OOP's you need a OOP... Grrrr Now I'm out my 9 bucks and change for the OOP form.

Hmm... Let see... My OOP appointment is in about an hour and a half. So if all goes well, we should be 100% legal in a couple of hours from now.
Insurance is done, plates are done, registration is done. Just need a stamp.

Got there at 4:50... The mechanic went over it and was done at 5:05... The only thing he complained about was the failing condition of the rubber on the leg stands I then rode back over to registrations and got it all cleaned up by 5:15. Rode home, picked up Kathy, went out to get her a helmet after getting some grub. She's been riding it since and was not soo keen to come back in the house just now at midnight.

Kevin, I'm glad that it all worked out, and just before the long weekend....very cool! I guess it's out of the question that you bring that banana to Calgary?

That is excellent Kevin! I know how Kathy feels...that banana and all other scooters for that matter are so much fun. I can just imagine her with a big smile on her face. Sounds like she learned the ropes pretty fast What color is her helmet? I know what you mean about the rubber on the leg stands...I always thought the rubbers sitting 2 inches above the base of the stand looked kind of strange...but then it again....it wasnt my scooter to complain about hee hee. I will miss that banana. Happy scooting Kathy! Delia
