You came to the right place for an answer......Vespa Kelowna LIVES and you can speak to Ron or Bruce. Call 250-86-Vespa and they can sell you a sweet scoot! Plus they are really nice guys totally into customer service and they will likely ship too.....
What part of the Interior do you live?

Hey, thanks for the accolades Delia! swixtt, if you are in the Kelowna area and are looking for a new Vespa or just want to visit, pop into Vespa Kelowna. If you are looking for something vintage, someone in Kelowna was selling a 100 Sport that looked to be in very nice shape. I think Roy posted a photo and phone number in the For Sale section.
If you don't mind taking a little road trip, contact Dennis at ScooterMd in Vancouver to see if he has any vintage bikes for sale.

Great thanks for the Info!! I'm in Cranbrook! I was looking for something used as the older style is ...well ... classic! What sizes of engines did these come with? did they change much over the years? also, what about leaving your ride while you are downtown(buying parts for your vespa) and discovering your new little scooter is missing? do they have a locking steering column or something? i have a VERY old vintage suzuki 80cc from 1966...but i cannot find parts for that anymore.

If you are looking for something classic check out the M-Class at Scooter MD: www.scootermd.com/4sale/index.htmlThese are bikes with the classic 1960s Vespa frames and a brand new (not restored) P 200 motor. Other then that, check out the For Sale section off our home page and in this forum. Vespas over the years have produces a variety of engine sizes....You find 50cc, 80cc, 90cc, 125cc, 150cc, 200cc scooters depending on the model and year.

Hey sixtt, about security:
As far as security goes, new Vespas have a very good built in electronic security system. A lot of vintage scooters have a steering lock. Most scooters (maxi scooters excepted) are small and light so it's pretty easy for a couple of people to pick one up and load it into the back of a pick-up. There are a lot of lock systems for sale that allow you to chain your bike to a post, bike rack, or other scooter, or immobilize the front wheel. There seems to be a rash of scooter thefts happening in Vancouver right now so it's a good idea to take precautions wherever you are. I would not park my scooter in downtown Kelowna on a Saturday night and leave it unattended. Too easy for some yobs to push it over or pick it up and throw it in the lake.
