Roy and I just wanted to say thanks so much for the fun weekend. It was so fun, we decided to stay an extra day - gotta buy cherries!!! Even though I dont like to look at our 'shaft' award (dirty dirty), we think it is pretty funny, and thanks for that hee hee. Thanks to all of the sponsors, especially Ron of Vespa Kelowna for making the raffle really special for us (sorry Erin). Torry, Nick and Korey cleaned up Edmonton, so we figured it was fair to keep the prizes in BC (Right Bob?). This weekend had the nicest rides and scenery I have EVER seen EVER. Awesome! Thanks Kevin et al for leading the rides and to everyone who worked so hard to organize this rally. Thanks to Ron and Bruce who did the midnight slooooow ride with me to finish breaking in the Daisy and not leaving me stranded in the dark when the glow of the tail lights faded away in the distance. It was nice to meet the new faces we have only seen on the forum, and the new members - welcome! Noel...please practice for the next gymkhana. We will try to destroy all evidence of the 'incident' (maybe)....we await payment ;D *Nick....we have to talk....we are willing to share any profits*...errrr how much for the film? Rocket and Graham & Terry and Sean.....you are hardcore iron butts....(Maybe not Terry with his comfy seat....errr Roy just called you a kitty cat or something like that) . Bernd and Kahuna.....get some sleep! Wait...after you get home. See you all in Calgary! We cant wait. Love Delia and Roy

i must also say, awesome weekend, and beautiful scenery. The weather was also perfect . applauds to Ron, Bruce and also to Kevin for leading the rides. i don't think there's any way we would be able to FIND those roads again without you. I'm glad i came, met so many people. you are no longer just names on a forum. To those that didn't make it this year, you MISSED out big time. Rides don't get better than this. so many twisties basically within 'walking' distance. just imagine . . . 80 km group rides.
and to Noel, we feel for you. Heal fast. i guess next year it's going to be a Show & Shine (instead of the Gymkhana, unless of course, everyone uses the Beluga)
there can never, ever be another 1st rally. was good to be a part of it. you've set a high standard to beat. looking forward to your next one already.

Props to the gang in Kelowna for a great rally. Lots of bugs in the teeth and on the goggles going back on the Coquihalla Saunday night. Looking forward to seeing everyone at a rally called George. Topcat

terry:
MAN, your GTS rocks. the last time i saw you was on the Bridge. all the way back on the Connector & Coquihalla i was keeping lookout for you, but i guess . . . you were just too far ahead, and pulling away. At McCallum Road, the highway was standing still, had to divert to Hwy 10/91/99.

Good Job on the Rally Kelowna, I had a great time and now I'm thinking I'm going have to bring up the scooter more for some of those great rides. I'll try to learn how to drive and stay out of ditches for future rides. Thanks again for all your hard work and effort. Vince

Yes, thank you for all the fun time. You certainly packed the weekend full. You've sure got beautiful country there. With some of those gravel corners, I'm glad I wasn't following Vince.
Oh, and I lost a mirror somewhere near Vespa Calgary. If you find it, it's yours.

It really was amazing! All of the Kelowna people had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed taking the out of towners on rides and sharing with them what we can enjoy everyday. We're looking forward to meeting even more people and planning a bigger rally for next year.
