Mon Dieu! Ken and I did the RATL this morning. What a ride! North along Westside Rd. to O'Keefe Ranch and breakfast at Denny's in Vernon, then back to Kelowna along Commonage and Glenmore. About 130km of fantastic scenery, fun, twisty, up and down roads. May have to add it to a rally itinerary.

You should have been there Daryl. It was phenomenal. I rode the P series and thought of you the whole time. We'll definitely have to do it again before winter. Just too bad that Commonage Rd. isn't paved for the entire length. How was Nakusp?

The only bad thing was on friday waiting for the needles ferry.
Waited FOUR SAILING before we got on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so pissed that I could not go with you guys today!
Sounds like it was really a fun time.
We will have to go do it before the snow flys.

Actually, we went through a radar trap about 30 seconds into the ride. If I had been riding with you, for sure I would have gotten nailed. I was taking it easy so Ken could keep up.

Hey, buy a real bike, or whatever TF your name is, there's a nice 1971 Triumph on Craig's list right now. I'm quite tempted to get it. There was also this really awesome Kawi from the early 70's that someone put a bunch of work into. Very coool bike.

If you want to spend more fixing than riding, I guess that's the cool thing to do nowadays!
Fix,ride,fix,ride,fix,ride,etc...............
It's a good thing you have a p for back up!!! ;D

That's what I figure. Keep the P for when you absolutely positively have to get there, and buy some cool old bike for riding fast for very short periods of time.

Peeman > Calgary was outta sight. The rally was incredible. Their crew raises the bar. Put around 500K on my P2. Sorry to disappoint, there was no romancing, you'll just have to jerk off to something else.
D-Dude > Saw the Triumph. Someone already fwd'd the link to me. It looks nice. Did you see that bagged on LX on Castanet? WTF is that dude smoking? You can tell from the picture that the frame ain't straight.

Hey K, on the weekend the guys from OCC were on a European vacation and they spent quite a bit of time in England. Anyhow, they visited all of these motorcycle museums and it was really cool to see how a BSA looks and sounds when its running. So, they went for a ride with Ewan McGregor who was riding a beautiful BSA and went to the Ace Cafe which I guess is the mecca for bikers in England. Then the guys jumped on scooters and rode around Scotland in kilts. Then they went over to France and rode more scooters and made fun of French people. It was really awesome.
