I look at your avatar and think if you sell the Miata and move the Easter Egg over you'd have enough room in the carport for it.

Naaaa, it would be easier to mount a scooter hauler on the wall and throw it up there. You know, I have the Miata up for sale right now, but I just don't think I can let her go.

I have the Miata up for sale right now, but I just don't think I can let her go. Is that because you really dig the "cruising by the Grand with a suede brimmed hat" vibe? At least they're fun to work on and everything is easy to get at. Evac? Carb trouble? No prob. 2.5 minutes and you're there. That's considering that the problems don't solve themselves, which is more often the case. Why am I wasting my time on problematic vintage technology? Moderator feel free to delete this post.

Good point. You should have seen how much trouble I had getting the friggin' muffler back on after I paid $25 to have a new tire mounted. It was unbelievable. It's nice to have the reliability of a new bike, but heaven help you if anything goes wrong with it. I was a bit hesitant to take the p series around the lake, but it ran just awesome. The only thing that freaked me out a bit was going across the bridge on those skinny tires. It's much easier on the wider tires on the LX.

You can't kill a P, unless your name is Daryl. I treat mine worse than I treat my friends. I even run without gearbox oil from time to time to keep it humble. It just smiles and tries harder to please me.

Yeah Darryl, pull out a 6" angle grinder to take off an itty bitty bearing (and most of a crank shaft).
What do you have to say about that Peeman?

Yes...a very cool scooter for a very fair price considering what it is. I worked on it a few times fro Trevor. D

Like I keep saying,
If it's not broke, break it anyways.
It's more fun that way.
Better wrecking something trying than getting someone else to do it for you.
It's not rocket science.
