I am trying to get some more time in and a shorter ride and not all hard out full throttle(for me) would be great. If anyone is interested. Maybe Wednesday? Thursday?
Round town, maybe east kelowna?

Hey Jer, what are your plans for this ride (e.g. time, meeting place etc.)?

Okay, since no one is saying anything, Darryl and I will be leaving Casa Bruce at 6:30. Anyone who wants to come is welcome but we are leaving at 6:30 on the dot. If you're late, I may treat you to another one of my "oh my God, Bruce is lying dead in the middle of the road" pranks.

If my wife isn't working, (can't remember her schedule this week), I may join you. Don't wait for me, if I'm there, I'm there, if I'm not, I'm not. If you're there, go, if you're not there, you've either already gone or aren't going.
Got it?
Good!
Wait. What if you're not there and I'm not there, what then?
Oh forget it, you've confused me. I don't think I'm going now.

Darryl and I will be leaving Casa Bruce at 6:30. Is Casa Bruce that new gay Mexican restaurant? I really want to check out their food, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to bring my wife. I hear their huuge burrito, El Triturador de la Quijada - aka The JawBreaker is a real treat. Did you guys get take-out or take-in?

BTW BARB, we had a smokin' ride last night. Actually, it wasn't the ride that was smokin', it was Jerry's new skate shoes as he tried to slow his bike down going down the hill to Mission Creek.

I (we, vv) had a smoking ride too, it might have been oil sumping.

I still think "Old Beezers" is more original than "V for Vendetta." Pretty good movie btw.

Awesome Ride,
That was pretty funny with gerry's brake incident. Good thing he was 3/4 down the hill when his brake rod came loose and fell off.
Tough on new skate shoes though.HEHEHE!
Terry was right behind him and all he could smell was burning rubber from Gerry's shoe.
Got to love the old Fred Flinstone move!
Besides that, all of the bolts that were falling off his NSU,made it dangerous riding behind him!
I'm suprised nothing else major did not fall off.
Oh Well That's what makes riding so much fun!!!!! ;D

I was a little more concerned with my stainless steel trim that sliced my shin at the kelowna rally was going to severe my achilles tendon(now that would have made for good story).
I do believe the best part was that every person who has ever gone down that road has thought at just about the point where it happened "This would be the worst place to loose your brakes"
And I can tell them "Yes, yes it is."
