It's about time someone stood up for the scooter guys.
We have the right to be on the road just like anybody else.

I liked the part about how most riders are women or men over age 60. I guess that's pretty much true, at least in the Okanagan. I've never seen more scooters on the road than there are in Osoyoos. Pretty much all old people riding them.

I don't know about around here though,everyone I've seen riding are not 60 years old.

Yep,
On our ride last night,we saw a few people riding scooters,not one of them was over 30.
We were the oldest ones riding,and we are not 60 years old!

So I will currently agree that my scooter will probably not do more than 60 KM(currently) but where does the simplicity part come in.
