Went to see the movie last night and it was a great film.
They showed a couple of Vespas for a brief moment or two.
They show the father in the movie riding a moped for a couple of scenes. Pretty cool.
Hey Didgeri,
They also show a Western Star in one of the scenes. How cool is that!!!!!!!!! ;D

Yep it's pretty funny!!
They show the Vespas parked at a Motel that the poeple in the movie stay at.
The father can't get his VW going so he borrows the moped from one of the guys that are a part of the group of Vespas.
We played a big part in the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Actually, this particular Mike Hubert would have been about 8 years old in '86, so I doubt it. Sorry. It was a long shot anyways. Did you guys ever go see a band called Rock Band out of Kelowna? say...1995-98 ish?
another long shot.

Mike Hubert doesn't sound familiar but if I saw a photo of him I'm sure I would recognize him. Never heard of the band Rock Band either. They must have been pretty low key because I know everything.

Mike has a brother (?) named Steve, former RockBand, who tickles ivory, er plastic, in Romance. When Bruce says "low key" he means said band didn't ring his doorbell and then perform in his front yard. Get out tha house, Bruce, get out tha house.

You mean Kevin Kane was your paperboy? Or The Cruizaros were your garbage men? Or, ugh, the Wentworths were your friends?

One of the guys from the Cruizeros did sound for us when we played a gig in Kelowna... not sure how we got off on this tangent, but it's probably my fault.

Hey, by the way, Rock Band was huge (compared to smaller, less known bands), and played at Mezzaluna many times... anyone else remember Mezzaluna?

I like the pixies too.
I even played at Mezzaluna. It's true. My band opened for The Shermans (who happens to be Vince Dahl's old band...Servetavin). Small world, eh?
