Hello, I'm a proud owner of a black 1974 Vespa Sprint 150. I am a long-time enthusiast, but first-time buyer.
I'm in the process of getting all my paperwork complete so it can be ready to ride.
I want to volunteer my services to start up (or help start up) the Toronto Chapter of the VCoC. I believe there are lots of Vespa enthusiasts in the GTA and having a VCoC presence would be well received.
Please advise.

Hi Joe,
congrats first to your 'new' Vespa! I think it is great that you volunteer to start a chapter in Toronto.
I am sure Curt will get in touch with you soon to give you some information on what is needed to start a new chapter. It isn't really all that much. All that is needed is a few deidcated people...the rest doesn't take much.
In case you want to get in touch with Curt, you can email him at modjet@shaw.ca.
Best of Luck!

We also need to start a London chapter (About 2hrs away from Toronto). But I'll be moving to Toronto in 4 years or so, so I better get to know you guys now. I'll be getting a 2005 Vespa LX 150 in march next year.

:)Hello boy's and girl's. I have been a huge Vespa fan, since I was 14 years old, Now 29, I am ready to buy my first scoot. I have had my eye on a nice new PX150 LTD for a long time now. I think I'm ready. I should be ready to ride this spring. I live in the west end of Mississauga, and will be interested in joining the club in 2006, and willing to help out as much as I can.

There is quite an interest for the Toronto chapter, I have contacted about 10 people so far. Everyone seemed willing to lend a hand. If you would like to help, just leave a reply here so we can get things figured out. Thanks, Jay.

So do all interested parties want to meet up at the Motorcycle show in Toronto this weekend to discuss putting an SC together?
Pick some time on Sat or Sun and meet at the Motoretta booth. I would imagine they must be representin' there.

Sure, sounds good. I don't think it will be Motoretta, But I know Vespa Canada will have a booth. That is going to be my first stop at the show. I was planning to go on Friday to beat the crowds, but any time sat or sun will be fine.

YES, I'm looking forward to that show, Largest motorcycle show in Canada. I need some new boots and pants. This weekends show was OK, not very many vender's though. I got a quick release strap for my helmet and a new belt. $20 bucks to park and a 15min walk in the cold (BRRRRR).
