Season Opener Ride and Kalaisha Charity Ride Information:
The weather forecast for this weekend still looks very good!
So unless the weather between now and next Sunday changes dramatically our Season Opener Ride and the Kalaisha Watrous Charity Ride will take place as planned this coming Sunday, April 23rd.
We will meet for our ride at Continental Coffee (1806 Commercial Drive, Vancouver) at 11am. Please get your scooters filled up before meeting with the group at the Continental.
Our ride will leave the Continental at 11:30 am and we plan to arrive at the Billy Miner Neighbourhood Pub (22355 River Rd, Maple Ridge) at around 1 pm.
For those of you who want to meet us directly at the Billy Miner, here is a link to google maps for th location:

The Billy Miner is offering a $3 breakfast for.
We will be collecting donations for the Kalaisha Watrous Fund at the Billy Miner.
After brunch at the Billy Miner's our ride will take us to Fort Langley (taking the Albion Ferry). We will stop in Fort Langley for a short time. In Fort Langley you have a chance to explore briefly the towns little boutiques, or coffee and ice cream shops.
We plan to leave Fort Langley around 4pm and take the scenic 96th Avenue country road back to Surrey, and from there via Pattullo Bridge we will ride back to Vancouver where our ride ends at Continental Coffee.
Note:
we initially planned staying for a while at a park in Fort Langley, but our stay would have been very short so that we decided to drop that part of the plan. However, one of our next Sunday rides could take us to a Park, such as Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park ("Georgetown") where we could play Bocci or soccer.
For questions, please feel free to post them in this forum or send them via email to info at vespaclubofcanada dot com.
