We could make this a ride destination. My suggestion would be we meet at 11am and ride out there and spend some time at the swap meet.

hm....the response to this is overwhelming.... Anyway, I still plan to ride to the Swap meet in Tsawassen on Sunday, so in case anybody would like to join that would definitely be more fun. So here is the updated meeting information:Lets meet Sunday at around 11 am at the Chevron gas station at 57th Ave and Knight St. (7315 Knight St)We'll leave the gas station at 11:15 am (sharp...sort of) We then have the option to take the - direct, faster route via Knight St, Hwy 99, Hwy 17, and 56 St., or take - Knight St, No. 6 Rd, Hwy 99, Hwy 17, 64 St., 28 Ave, and 56 St. One way or another we can't avoid Hwy 99 unless we make a bigger detour via the Patullo Bridge. Would appreciate if anybody coming would post so....also please post in case you know the area better and have a better route suggestion. So hope to see some of you on Sunday. PS: Weather forecast is currently not bad for the weekend: 13C, variable clouds, 20% P.O.P.

roy:
on your 2nd alternative route, i don't believe that you can get through on 64th. you would have to divert to 34B avenue to Arthur Drive, since 28th Avenue does not cross over Hwy 17.
suggest alternative route: take Ladner exit (1st exit from Tunnel), River Road, Arthur Drive, 28th Avenue, 56th.
IMHO.

I am going to ride the route(s) today so there won't be any surprises tomorrow.
