Yep seen them...definately not an original. Also saw knock off stickers on another site, but if nobody does anything about it....what can you say.
Cease and Desist letters used to work well but you would have to speak to the volunteers currently running the show.

Would a poor knock-off of the brilliant WSCE patch be good? (like, the worse the knock-off, the better it is.)

I am not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice. If you are a lawyer with a solid understanding of Canadian copyright law, your input is most welcome. eBay will only accept takedown notices from a party of standing (ie the rights holder). Here's a snippet from the relevant eBay page at pages.ebay.ca/help/tp/vero-rights-owner.html"Only the intellectual property rights owner can report of potentially infringing items or listings through eBay's VeRO Program. If you are not the intellectual property rights owner, you can still help by getting in touch with the rights owner and encouraging them to contact us. For a list of rights owners who participate in our VeRO program" To the best of my knowledge, the Vespa Club of Canada does not own the copyright to the above patch in question. (Errr.... I mean the original patch, not the lousy knock-off shown above). Copyright of the Vespa Club of Canada patch is held by its creator, unless the patch was created as a "work for hire" or the original creator has assigned the copyright to the Vespa Club of Canada or some other third party. I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this - if anyone has input that shows the Vespa Club of Canada holds the copyright for the patch in question, I am willing to follow up with the C&D letters.
