So with Vegas about three months away, I need to decide if I plan to go. Those of you who know me know I go rather often. You also likely know that I am expecting a baby in June so perhaps that money could be better spent on diapers.
I am of two minds.
1) baby on the way = last chance for a while
2) baby on the way = terribly irresponsible to go.
I wanted to get a feeling for who was going and what their plans were. I had heard rumour of somone organizing a trailer to take bikes down, and was wondering if this was true. I think if there was going to be a solid Vancouver contingent going I would be more inclined to go that route myself.
Let me know people.

I believe in #1, providing babymama is down with that.
We tried to do as many movies, concerts, trips and rallies as my tummy and work schedule would allow before the baby and I think it helped make the 'quieter' first year with baby better.
My mom wants to go to Vegas soon so maybe I will talk her into going with us then and that way she can babysit at night : )

I'm keeping an eye on the airfares to Vegas. the cheapest will probably be with www.allegiantair.com/ out of Bellingham. but their fares haven't come down yet... when they *do* discount... the fares can be as low as $28 each way + taxes and fees... that's US $90 total return. unfortunayely... this rally is around the Spring Break time... so fares *might* not go as low. I'll post if I find good deals.

Bellingham is currently *more* expensive than from YVR.
YVR - LAS - YVR on Air Canada is $79 each way plus taxes.
If you're going to San Diego after Vegas... LAS - SAN is US$ 90 on US Air (taxes in)... and SAN - YVR is $166+tax (one way)
Allegiant out of Bellingham is US$ 78 outbound and $124 rtn plus taxes. (although US taxes are less for the outbound sector)

Air Canada Flights dropped tonight... to $64 each way... GET BOOKING !!!
that's $238 (taxes inc.)...
and you can deduct another $11 if you... a) don't want Aeroplan miles... b) select "No changes allowed" c) have no checked bags.

MGM Grand is across the street from the Tropicana... and is a big step up in room quality... for only a little more money.
MGM Promo Code: MGM021
18th $79 19th $79 20th $129 21st $129 22nd $59 23rd $59
that's about $10 more than the Tropicana's tower rooms.
your *cheapest* option is still the Garden Rooms at the Tropicana.
