What about RAIN?
The forecast is calling for a LOT of rain on Saturday now, and wind.
Will that postpone things?
I'm dying to come out and see if anyone has any brilliant suggestions for how to make my scooter NOT BREAK DOWN IN THE RAIN, heh, since it runs AWESOME the rest of the time. Water's getting in somewhere.
But, obviously, I won't be making it there if the forecast holds up.

O.K. This is just a suggestion, but how ABOUT if it is raining move it one week and then have breakfast/lunch (aka brunch) at SAVE ON MEATS instead. Just an idea. Throwing it out (up) there.

If it is indeed raining we move the whole deal downstairs to the parking garage, a few of us are going for breakfast at 9 am at Berts on Main, then making the decision from there. Either way some bikes are getting some work done tomorrow. Be brave people.

Oh, oh, I guess I missed that bit about the garage, either that or you all got finished in record time as it looked deserted just after 12:00. Wasn't raining (much) then!

I got this neat little gizmo called a Smartach which measures secondary voltage and wanted to measure a few bikes just for interest. Oh well, when I finish getting the rust off the Helix, maybe I'll ride out to Mission, see you and maybe take in one of the Raceway bike practice days (you get in for free but spectators have to sign a waiver). I'll bet your kids would get a kick out of it, but they don't allow dogs out of the car. Even on the non-bike weekends there are usually a few drag bikes there.
(I see the price of ultrasonic cleaners has been falling, going to see if I can one big enough for small carbs, even if I have to drive to Everett to get it. There used to be a guy in Richmond who had a really big one, but I don't where he's moved to, the place was called John's Bikes. His did a fantastic job, but he told me it cost him ten grand years ago. Looks like you can get a three litre model for about USD 100 now.)
