Hi Folks - I have a rebuilt '69 Vespa Bajaj - And have not been able to match up the chassis and engine serial numbers ... I know that there are numerous websites with Vespa serial numbers - but I have had no luck finding Bajaj Serial Numbers for Vespa Models the company produced ... Anybody know of any definitive sites where I can get this information - and not just sites that give the history of Bajaj? Thanks Jacques ;D

thats because a Bajaj is NOT a Vespa. Bajaj might have a website for serial numbers - but I dont know what it might be.

Thanks -
I have looked all over and no luck - Bajaj manufactured Vepsa's under license for the Piaggio Company between approx. 1960 and 1970 - as far as I am aware although these were manufactured in India they are identified as Vespa's ...
The scoot itself is marked as a Vespa and although the original 1969 ownership papers identify Bajaj as the manufacturer they ownership lists the model as a Vespa PX 150 ...
