Good Morning -
I wondered if anybody has foot rests on the cowling of their scoot - sometimes I have passengers and they have no footrest - I saw this model with the footrests on the trim ... not sure if this was a standard feature or something new - I have never seen these in scooter parts catalogs ...
Anybody ...
Thanks
Jacques

The larger modern vespas (GT200, GTS250, GT60) generally have fold-out footrests. Clicky clicky for an example: www.motorcycle-usa.com/photos/gt60.jpgThis is a standard feature on the above models. Since it's part of the frame/trim, I haven't seen anyone adding these on to a different model. However, if you would like passenger foot pegs for your '69 Bajaj, you might be able to find an appropriate set of chrome crash bars with footpegs. I couldn't find a Bajaj-specific link, but just to give you the general idea, here's an example for ET/LX models: www.scooterwest.com/item_detail/ETLX-Chrome-foot-rest/231/Ask your friendly local dealer if they can source the appropriate kit, or bodge something together from a similar model. While the add-on chrome pegs do have a more classic appeal, some people prefer the built-in folding foot pegs. Probably because . they are unobtrusively tucked away for the 99% of the time you're not carrying a passenger, and since they fold in on themselves, they won't smack into the back of your leg in a rough stop.

Thanks -
Sorry I was not clear enough and now I can't find the pictures - but the Vespa I saw had footrests for the passenger on the chrome guards on either side of the rear cowlings ...
Regards,
Jacques
