thanks a bunch i had a great time, even for a rally that i didnt ride to and brought the hemeriods with me,just phoned mark h and i thought he would have been home about 2 hours after i left him on hiway one in abbotsford, but due to a hour+ wait at the sumas crossing, him his trailer and his loaded lambretta are still going, just i case your wondering btw on the way back we encounterd an absoulte down pour for at least half of the way home, and a 45 minute crawl just before the toll booths due to constuction, my hats off to the riders. thanks again to one and all[oh and screw spell check ] im shagged as the kids took turns wearing me down on the way home between naps!

Thanks to all those who organized the rally. The rides were great and so was the chilled out nature of camping. The ride home was bollocks as it rained the entire way back to Calgary. For those going to Vancity, we'll cya in 2 weeks. Please let us know when the scoot.net page is ready.
Cheers,
michael

Dale was forced to lay his bike down in Grindrod. Hurt mirror and scrapped side. No damage that ducttape wouldn't fix.
Rained all the way to the Alberta border. Then it was nothing but clear sunset. Our dry prairie is better then your wet desert.
Boys on bikes looked soaking wet, regardless of raingear.
Seems like an awful long drive for only one big ride, gorgeous and fun as that was. But the camping set-up more then made up for it. Big boo to all the princess's holed up with running indoor water. Our campsite indoor plumbing was portable. So was our outdoor plumbing, kinda, I guess.

Dale was forced to lay his bike down in Grindrod. Shitty. He's okay though right? Our dry prairie is better then your wet desert. The rain cleared up and it was nice by 2:00 or 2:30. Thanks for dragging the crap weather out of the valley with your ridiculous self-fueling truck. Seems like an awful long drive for only one big ride, gorgeous and fun as that was. You should meet our friend Eric Wolf. I'll PM you his real name and contact info.

Hey I resemble that remark. ;D I'll be a princess anyday if it means I can have a shower in the morning to wake up and take away the morning grumpiness. Kelowna you rock! The rally/ride was awsome. I loved it so much I decided to stay a few days longer. Shannon

The hot shower once I got home was amazing...I regret not taking Caprice's 'award' when I packed up to leave the camp site! Sure could have used the fancy bath products.
Next time the weather will be more hot so the pool can get more use.
Thx Dale from Red Deer for being super prepared with lots of camping supplies!

Completely worth the ridiculous amount of time and effort involved getting there. Going home was no treat either, but it was all worth it just for the Sat. riding. Can't get stuff like that in the city. See yous next year Canadia rawks

Award? What award..... Do I get an award for life "balance" between family and rally? Man, I get in crapola no matter what I do... Also, how about and riding up the 97c on a 150cc scooter to meet you guys in Vernon?

Big thanks and great job to the Kelowna crew, had a fantastic time, even thought I was on holidays LOL. Thanks to Kevin for the meet up on Thursday night and taking us to the campsite. Thanks to Vespa Kelowna (Ron, Tori, Justin and Sam for putting me to work on Friday and the breakfast on Saturday morning. One hell of a great ride around the lake. Jerry for the Pool and I believe only one person was thrown in, the Calgary guys and all out of townners had a fun time. Roy and Delia for trailering my bike. Hope to see you all at the Vancouver rally.

To the Kelowna gang, thanks for a great rally. The ride home on the Coq was wet and cold on the connector and the higher elevations on the main part of the highway. We didn't have to wait as long as Rocket did for the construction because we followed some crotch rockets along the side of the road past all the cagers. The weather dried up before Abbottsford and we came home to Vancouver in bright sunshine. Topcat

likewise, thank you to all the Kelowna crew for a great rally. Love your roads, the great weather and warm hospitality. As Terry mentioned, it was COLD on the connector, but we made it back in one piece. The ride around the Lake (Westside Road) made the day. thanks to Kevin for his spirited leadership. We were on the lookout for Rocket and MarkH on the way back, but they may have passed us without honking, or maybe we were just too fast and they couldn't catch up

I'm glad so many people made the trip out. It was a joy playing host to you guys and your fruity bikes. I can only speak for myself and The Wiz (it's legal), but we found this rally far more enjoyable than our previous. Next year we'll have Ron and The Triple Threat back on two wheels so the bar will no doubt be raised again.

fyi: the clock is still taped on to my rack and survived the 7 hour drive back in the rain. I have a feeling it may stay on there for a while.
