well if the sucsess of a rally it decided by the amount of feed back it gets on the forum, this one was a winner, and following mark h back, i really wanna ride in the caravan at 70mph, that looks like its got the pne rides licked. but im not suprised that we didnt catch the riders, cause there was quite a bit of traffic and we were a little slower goingup hill, but the wifes car mad it home on 25 litres. oh and i posted a link to the macc ladds in the uncensored section, just for the calgarians!

but im not suprised that we didnt catch the riders, cause there was quite a bit of traffic and we were a little slower goingup hill, but when we hit Merritt we went North ONE exit to the Chevron, and also on the way back, we followed Coldwater road out of Merritt for about 35 kms before we re-entered the Coq. so it is possible we could have missed you. bob

fyi: the clock is still taped on to my rack and survived the 7 hour drive back in the rain. I have a feeling it may stay on there for a while. Take care or the clock, bring it to Vancouver...... Jimmy

What a ride!! Super time guys. Just got my account aproved to reply here. Not only got to ride the Westside road but also the big ride from Red Deer to Kelowna and back. Best time in a longtime except for some person in Enderby slamming the brakes on in front of me . Not much damage, broke a mirror and a few scratches on the scoot . Only going about 10-15 KPH and no dammage to me except my pride . Thanks for the great time. Dale

Dear Kelowna
Sorry I am last, but this is the first chance I have had since getting back last night.
I had a really good time at the Feed a Bear Rally! Loved the company and everything except the washboard dirt stretch of the ride....but oh well...who am I to whine?
The weather was pretty good since we had Thursday too to boot around on our fruity scooters lol. Too bad about the drizzle Sunday, but it was still fun. It was good to see the old friends and new faces too.
Thanks to everyone who obviously worked really hard to make this a fun and welcoming rally for everyone. I know Kevin and Shauna (spelling?) are guilty for tons of work, and Jerry...we all love especially since you give the little kid look to any question posed. I am sure you are guilty of lots of hard work and who knew you had so many 'interesting' talents.....(I mean the yo-yo). Get your mind out of the gutter people! Ron and Torrie....thanks for all the work and contributions you and Vespa Kelowna provided.....it is always fun to hang at the shop. (Sorry we could not make it on the way home).
There is no doubt I am missing out thanking someone important here, but my brain is mush at this point. The campsite was awesome and hopefully the owners were ok with us being there and will let us stay again.
We will definately be back next year and hope to see you all in Van for the rally in 2 weeks.
take care all love Delia

I'd like to thank everyone who came out as well. The amount of people who rode and trailered in from such great distances truely amazed me! fyi: the clock is still taped on to my rack and survived the 7 hour drive back in the rain. I have a feeling it may stay on there for a while. Don't forget to set it an hour ahead...

What a great time in Kelowna!
Thanks to everybody in Kelowna involved with the organization of the rally. Great job! Having a campsite were all of us can meet and hang out at night was a big bonus....suggest to make this a permanent part of the rally (if you should find somebody willing to give us a campsite).
Braden, Brucy, Scott...haven't seen your names mentioned, but I am sure you all had part in the rally.
Loved the Saturday ride! Best part was Bob and I following Kevin and the 'Whiz' catching up with the group. Justy love a fast ride especially on a twisty rode like this.
Congrats again to a successful 2nd Annual Rally....let's feed more bear next year!!!
PS: "2nd Gear Jerry"...how's the scooter? Ready to attempt improving your record this year and bringing it to Vancouver?

late post . . . www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JuncWVUFYsperhaps there will be some interest to ride up there this year for the Kelowna Rally. I must say that I have gone to the first 2 rallys in Kelowna and GREAT weather, GREAT people, GREAT roads and had a GREAT time. because of my hard drive crash I am missing a lot of pictures, because I cannot find the RAT MOTOR (if you were there, then you will know what I mean), and also there were a lot more candids that I know were taken. I refrained from taking a lot of pics on the Campsite grounds because as they say, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" and I didn't want to have any evidence . . . not that anything happened there. and If you see anything you like, let me know and I will email you the full resolution pixs thanks, bob
