DD, I'm too lazy to read all of the posts. What time Thursday are you planning on leaving Vancouver ? It sounds like we won't get lost this time going to the border.....

I have issues. Serious ones, but also some minor ones related to Amerivespa.
Basically, Char and Kyle have pulled out of the trip. Opting instead to extend their time in Ontario in order to give more time to family and loved ones. Fair Play. However, my plan to share hotel space with them in Seattle has gone to pot.
I myself am in Ontario until late evening on Thursday June 12 when I fly back into Vancouver. I completely intend to turn right around and head to Seattle on Friday. Even late Thursday night if need be. What I need to know is.
1. Does anyone have a ride planned for Friday, or available Trailer space. I can always sort myself out on the GreyHound. 2. Does anyone have available hotel room floor space. I'm not a needy guy. Some floor, and a semi serious promise not to mess around with me whilst I sleep is fine enough.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be most welcome at this point.
Cheers Courtus

The Rusty Gull on Wednesday night sounds fun. What time would the festivities begin ? Last scene on the Coq.... Topcat

Hey Everybody! Looking forward to the rally, but have been TOTALLY NOT PLANNING AT ALL because I am amazing. Anyone have floor space at the 8th Ave Inn? I'll bring cookies and porn! Delia: Thank you for keeping my card for a hundred years! I look forward to reuniting with my club membership. It's still good, right? Who all will be meeting at Empire on Thurs morning? I'd ride down, but will surely seize. mis

Weather is beautiful. Go for a shakedown ride. Do 200 km this weekend. You still have time to fix problems if they exhibit themselves. Long range forecast is dry, but may cool a little. For the Border: - Bring I.D. - Passport (prefered) - expired passport / Citizenship card & Drivers Licence - Bring your vehicle registration papers / proof of insurance papers (just in case) I also suggest bringing some cash in the event of a breakdown - $100 USD can make life a lot easier (don't spend it, because you might need it on the way back ). Peace Arch Web Cam: www.borderlineups.com/webcams.php?CamID=7And don't forget your BCAA travel insurance.

Gang, Remember, the best way to beat border line ups is to go through the truck crossing and get into the duty free line. Go into duty free buy a bottle of water or some good canadian booze and then get into the short line before the border. This works both ways. Topcat
